Sew a child’s A-Line dress (17th June 2017)


1 Day workshop,  10:00am – 4:30pm on Saturday 17th June

Suitable for beginners. Learn to sew this beautiful, reversible a-line dress / pinafore using an original Sewabaloo pattern and your own sewing machine.  All haberdashery and the sewing pattern will be provided. Bring your own lunch, your sewing machine and 2 x 1m pieces of fabric.

*Larger dress sizes may need more fabric, please see the Carabaloo product page to check fabric quantities, or contact me, if you think this might be the case*

The Workshop will be held at Studio 12, The Model House art and Craft Centre, Llantrisant, South Wales.  This is a small class with just 3 spaces available, so you can be certain of plenty of help and attention in a friendly environment.

Sew this beautiful, reversible A-Line dress from an original Sewabaloo sewing pattern, Carabaloo.

This class is suitable for beginner sewers, learn how to follow a commercial sewing pattern, select the correct size and adjust a pattern for fit, and create a beautiful dress for your little girl using a range of simple techniques to give you a professional standard finish.


Bring your own sewing machine, 1 m of the main fabric, 1m of the lining fabric (the dress is fully lined and reversible), a 1button and your lunch.  I will provide the sewing pattern and as much tea and biscuits as you need in order to keep you fuelled throughout the day.

This is a small and friendly class with just 3 available spaces.
