Pyjama Bottoms Workshop


1 day workshop,  10:00 – 3:00pm on Saturday 10th June

Suitable for confident beginners (you need to be familiar with your sewing machine and able to sew a straight line). Learn to sew your own pyjama bottoms using a commercial pattern and your own sewing machine.  All haberdashery and the sewing pattern will be provided.

Bring your own lunch, sewing machine and 2.5m of your chosen cotton fabric.

The Workshop will be held at Studio 12, The Model House art and Craft Centre, Llantrisant, South Wales.

Learn how to make a gorgeous pair of comfy pyjama bottoms, great for a Father’s Day gift, or just a treat for  yourself to lounge around in!

Learn how to make and follow a pattern (New Look  6764),  how to cut fabric from a pattern, how to sew seams and hems, and how to add elastic and a drawstring.

You will need approximately 2.5 metres of cotton fabric, your own sewing machine and a packed lunch. The sewing pattern and haberdashery are supplied but if you prefer to bring your own matching cord/ribbon for the drawstring please bring it along.

This session is suitable for someone who can use a sewing machine and would like to start creating simple garments.
