I made a denim pinafore dress for my 3 year old granddaughter and loved making it because I learned so much and I was even able to do the buttonholes with ease! The instructions and diagrams were very clear and easy to follow.
The dress can be worn in the summer through to the winter, so it is very versatile and wearable. I will definitely use this pattern again using pretty print fabric for next summer.

I sewed the shirtdress for my 3 year old. The pattern was accurate, easy to follow and professionally illustrated. My daughter was very pleased with her new dress and it’s very comfortable for her to wear. I am sure I will use the pattern again as it’s an easy sew, looks professional and is very versatile.

I had the pleasure of pattern testing this dress and I can honestly say the pattern was clear and easy to follow from the off. The dress has many options sleeveless, short sleeved, cap sleeves, with pockets, without pockets, with collar without collar.
The bodice has loads of ease and it has elasticated ties at the waist to add shaping whilst allowing for growing room.
All in all this is a very versatile pattern that will see you through all seasons dependant on fabric used to make it. Another great point is that the pattern starts a 1 year and goes up to 12 years.

Love this dress, it is a great classic to have in any little girls closet. Easy and comfortable, can even pair it with a cute pair of leggings.

A lovely dress. Simple enough to sew as a beginner and lovely enough to make over and over. Clear instruction and owner is a lovely woman who helps out with any questions promptly.

I sewed the pinafore dress for my little girl. I found the pattern and instructions very clear and straightforward to follow. I wouldn’t class myself as an expert sewer by any stretch of the imagination, but once I had finished the dress, I was extremely pleased with how lovely it turned out. The little touches like the inset pockets, professional looking facings & button/button holes made the dress look like a beautiful, high quality sewing project.

I made the peplum top which was much easier than it looked, this was probably because of the lovely clear instructions. Easy to follow and nice clear diagrams. I am new to dress making so was surprised that I was able to follow this as my first proper pattern. I have made a few things since and i’m glad I had such a gentle introduction to patterns.

This pattern is fairly easy to make. I had decided to make the peplum top with some scrap fabric and it turned out to be on each of my daughters favorite! I highly recommend this pattern.

I made the pinafore dress in the smallest size for my one year old daughter. I am a beginner at dress making, but I found the pattern easy to print, put together, and sew, and there is lots of helpful tutorials on this website for beginners. We always get lots of lovely comments whenever my daughter wears the dress. I look forward to trying the peplum top next.
