Sewabaloo – activity so far

After months of planning and development, the launch of Sewabaloo is becoming ever closer, and of course that means we’re busier than ever.

After numerous drafts, re-drafts, test toiles and prototypes, our first pattern has been sent to our team of testers and the results are already coming back.  The feedback has been great, which is a huge relief, and includes some useful and actionable feedback, which is marvellous.  No pattern goes for testing without some glitches to be reported.

We haven’t decided on a naming protocol for our patterns yet – will we stick to Numbers only, or think of clever or themed names for the patterns?  Dunno yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we decide.

Work continues on the second pattern, two gorgeous little summer dresses (with pockets – because you need pockets) and a blouse.

We are Sewabaloo, how do you do!

We are a brand new independent sewing pattern company, specialising in offering lovely, clear and helpful patterns to make practical and beautiful clothes for the tree-climbing, pebble-collecting, knee-grazing children in your life.

We haven’t opened for business yet – we’re still drafting, sewing, testing and printing our first few patterns, which we hope to launch by the end of the summer.  We plan to blog about our behind-the-scenes development and it would be lovely if you fancied coming along with us for the journey.

Why not join our mailing list so we can let you know when we’ve launched and other exciting news?  We’re on Facebook and Instagram too, come and join us – we’ll probably have vouchers and discount codes and lovely stuff like that on there every so often, we shouldn’t wonder…
